Sound profile

The expected character is Reactive, full and well defined, with fast attack and good presence at regular pulses. With a natural skin, there are no two perfectly identical drums: membrane thickness, tension, climate and percussion point always affect the final response.

Care and conservation

Natural skin reacts to moisture: in a wet environment it can relax and tone down, while in a dry environment it can stretch and lift it up.

• Do not use flames, very hot vents or aggressive heat sources.
• If the voltage needs to be recovered, let the instrument acclimate gradually in a dry environment.
• Clean with a soft, dry cloth; avoid chemical detergents on the membrane.
• Do not place any weight on the skin and do not leave the drum exposed to intense sunlight for prolonged periods.
